At Zambezi Parks Support Foundation, we are committed to protecting wildlife habitats and conserving biodiversity in national parks. But our mission goes beyond just that. We also place a special focus on uplifting the rangers of the park, by providing them with resources and opportunities to develop skills, knowledge and abilities to become agents of change within their communities. Join us as we embark on this mission to create a sustainable future for both people and wildlife.
Our Infrastructure and Maintenance Department works hand in hand with the National Parks teams to ensure the park remains accessible, safe, and operational year-round. Together, we focus on critical maintenance tasks such as repairing bridges, grading roads, installing clear signage, and improving communication systems to better support patrols and visitor safety. By strengthening essential infrastructure, we not only enhance mobility for rangers and support teams but also ensure quicker response times during patrols and emergencies. This collaborative effort helps create a well-maintained, clearly marked, and efficiently connected park environment—supporting both conservation operations and long-term protection of the park’s natural heritage.
