TOGETHER WE CAN ACHIEVE THE UNTHINKABLE

As a non-profit organisation, we are committed to the long-term protection and restoration of Zambezi National Park. Our goal is to ensure this unique ecosystem remains sustainable for both tourism and future generations.

We work closely with the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Authority to combat poaching, illegal wildlife trade, and environmental degradation. By partnering with stakeholders and encouraging meaningful contributions from park operations, we’ve built strong, lasting relationships that support ongoing conservation efforts.

Through collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to sustainability, we continue to protect the Zambezi while empowering the communities that depend on it.

Our Core Pillars

Protection

These dedicated teams are the backbone of conservation in Zambezi National Park. Every day, they patrol, remove snares, and track wildlife, protecting habitats and confronting threats like poaching and illegal fishing.

Their efforts go beyond protection, they are helping secure the future of the park and everything that lives within it.

Empowerment

At Zambezi Parks Support Foundation, we are committed to protecting wildlife habitats and conserving biodiversity in national parks. But our mission goes beyond just that. We also place a special focus on uplifting the rangers of the park, by providing them with resources and opportunities to develop skills, knowledge and abilities to become agents of change within their communities. Join us as we embark on this mission to create a sustainable future for both people and wildlife.

Maintenance

Our Infrastructure and Maintenance team works closely with National Parks to keep Zambezi National Park accessible, safe, and fully operational year-round.

From repairing bridges and grading roads to installing signage and improving communication systems, this work supports ranger mobility, strengthens patrols, and enables faster emergency response, ensuring the park remains protected and well maintained.
